I work 40 hours a week year round and twice a year for 4-6 weeks I work a PT job scoring standardized tests. While PT, the hours are 5:30-9:30 pm Monday through Friday. This year we did 2 weeks then 2 weeks off but I did not get any rest...

Then I signed up for 4 more weeks of scoring. Luckily I was promoted last year to a Senior Reader and head up a table of 8-10 readers thus I am able to set the mood for my table, making it fun and slightly less monotonous than it can sometimes be. While I enjoy the people I have met and will miss them all (but thanks to Facebook able to stay in touch), I will not miss the 65 hour work weeks and joint/muscle pain from sitting 15 hours a day.
Looking forward to catching up with family and friends this holiday weekend. Starting with a happy hour at a newly opened Irish Pub in Albany called STOUT.
